I started attending church when I was about ten years old. The Vacation Bible School brought me to Life B-P Church. I attended Junior Worship Service and Sunday School, and through those lessons, I knew that Christ existed and He came to earth as a mere mortal to die for a worthless sinner like me.
However, I did not know what “coming down to earth to save us” meant. I just knew that what Christ did was marvellous and cannot be duplicated. I could not understand why and how Jesus came down to save us.
It was only much later that I understood it was God’s great love for us and His abundant grace that made Christ want to save us. Then only did I receive Christ as my personal Saviour and Lord.
I rejoice in the thought that He actually condescended to make me one of His children though I am worthless and insignificant. I have not done anything worthy in my life, but I sincerely pray that God can use me to reach out to people so that they will hear the good news and believe in Christ, for He said that we must bring forth good fruits for Him.
I want to thank our great Lord for His rich endless blessings. I know that His love, grace and mercy has been, still is and will always be around me.
My coming to Christ is not at all dramatic but I still want to “boast” to people how God’s love and grace saved me and how great God is, for there is none like Him in the whole universe. I pray that the Lord will multiply my love for Him and make me a blessing to others.
