Biological Evolution, Big Bang and Dating Methods under trial
Sat, April 12 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
For this session of Koinonia, we will have a guest speaker – Dr Ron Neller.
In this seminar, the observability of biological evolution, the problems of Big Bang and the accuracy of the dating science will be studied.
Biological evolution claims that all life on earth originated from a common ancestor, with its diversity explained by mutations and natural selection. Can they support evolution’s “microbe to man” claims? Did the universe start 13.8 billion years ago with a Big Bang? Assumptions behind Big Bang, its contradiction to the Genesis account, and its problems will be explored.
Unknown to many of us, decade-old rocks were dated millions of years old, and different radiometric dating methods on the same piece of rock yielded different ages. Is radiometric dating a definite science? This seminar will answer whether God completed his creation in six days or He is still creating using evolution over six eons of long periods.
